Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining offers the following education programs for foreign citizens:
- Training program (1050 academic hours) for admission to the medical universities of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian State Medical University, Vitebsk State Medical University, Grodno State Medical University), including the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English and Russian languages.
- Training program (1050 academic hours) for admission to the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (the Russian Federation), including the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English and Russian languages.
- Training program for admission to Gdansk University (the Republic of Poland). The number of academic hours and subjects are determined individually based on the chosen direction of training (mathematical, physical, technical-technological, biological, medical-pharmaceutical, environmental).
- «Russian as a foreign language» preparatory course with the following levels of language proficiency:
— А 1.1 (60 academic hours)
— А 1.2 (120 academic hours)
— A 1.3 (240 academic hours)
— A 2.1 (480 academic hours)
— A 2.2 (600 academic hours)
— В 1 (840 academic hours)
Level A 1 (Elementary) = A 1.1 + A 1.2 + A 1.3 (420 academic hours)
Level A 2 (Pre-Intermediate) = A 2.1 + A 2.2 (1080 academic hours)
Level B 1 (Intermediate) = (840 academic hours)
Language of study: Russian, English.
After the successful completion of the training program students obtain the certificate of state standard.
The Institute has a necessary number of training materials, textbooks, and test materials for students to master their Russian in a short term. The training is conducted taking into account national and cultural characteristics of students in the comfortable conditions of individual approach to each student. High professionalism of the teaching staff and the use of various forms and methods of work provide effective and quality training of students.
