Structure

International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University comprises the following structural units (Faculties):

Faculty of Environmental Monitoring. The Faculty includes 6 chairs:

  • Chair of Nuclear and Radiation Safety
  • Chair of Social-Humanitarian Sciences and Sustainable Development
  • Chair of Energy Efficient Technologies
  • Chair of Environmental Information Systems
  • Chair of Environmental Monitoring and Management
  • Chair of General and Medical Physics

 

Faculty of Environmental Medicine. The Faculty includes 6 chairs:

  • Chair of Environmental Chemistry and Biochemistry
  • Chair of Immunology and Environmental Epidemiology
  • Chair of Environmental Medicine and Radiobiology
  • Chair of General Ecology, Biology, and Environmental Genetics
  • Chair of Linguistic Disciplines and Intercultural Communication
  • Chair of Physical Education

 

Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining

Advanced training at ISEI BSU is carried out in the following main directions:

  • Radiation control, radiometry, dosimetry
  • Environmental informational systems
  • Energy saving. Renewable energy resources
  • Nuclear and radiation safety
  • Training of foreign languages

 

Joint Faculty of International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University and Tajik National University. The Faculty trains students in 3 specializations: Nuclear and Radiation Safety, Energy Efficient Technologies and Energy Management, and Medical and Biological Science. The training is conducted with the help of network variant of joint education programs and the use of resources of TNU and ISEI BSU, as well as distance education technologies.

 

Erevan Branch. Since 2012 International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University has its branch in Erevan (Republic of Armenia). Erevan branch of ISEI BSU trains specialists with higher education of the 1st stage.
